The College was founded in 1998 and quickly established itself as a respected training centre. From the outset, Enka has remained focussed on teaching the fundamentals of the setting out process, leading to a steady stream of qualified site engineers.
Enka has developed its courses using new tools and techniques, most recently developing a new concept in site engineer training – the virtual construction site.

Enka identified a skills gap within the construction industry and developed intensive training courses which give candidates a solid understanding of principles and practical skills that would normal take years of site experience to acquire. With half of all Chartered Civil Engineers reaching retirement age there has never been a better time to train.

Enka has established strong relationships with key construction industry employers. The Enka certificate is highly regarded and companies are keen to recruit our site engineers. As part of our service to students we register their details with an employment database that companies such as Hays Engineering, Anders Elite, Hill McGlynn and Topcon use to recruit staff.
