The exam is taken by all
students and tests their
knowledge and understanding
of all aspects of the
course. The exam is
practical and time
controlled, as this reflects
the site requirement for
both speed and accuracy. The
Enka certificate is awarded
only if the student
demonstrates competence in
all areas of Setting Out -
the current pass rate is
85%.
The Enka certificate is
highly regarded with the
construction industry and
many companies are keen to
recruit our Setting Out
engineers. A recent survey
carried out by the
Recruitment industry, found
that 60% of Setting Out
Engineers on site were Enka
trained.
If you
should fail, subject to your
exam performance, you may
take a resit, or take a one
week refreshment course.
What if I can't pass
the course?
Do not worry - you
can attend a one week course
free of charge.
