The course size is limited to 12 candidates at a time - this will allow for some degree of personal tuition - and runs over two weeks from Monday - Friday 9am-5pm, with half an hour break for lunch.

A 3 months training course is also available for candidates who have no relevant site experience or are changing career direction. More information.

Upon arrival, a folder detailing the syllabus is given to all students. This will also include basic calculations, worked examples and reference tools, all of which will be of invaluable help.

The course structure involves approximately 40% of classroom tuition, where theories and methods are taught and examples worked through in conjunction with referenced drawings.

The remaining 60% of the course will be concentrated on the practical application of previously taught theories and methods using the instruments.
