If you have already graduated from University, whether you are a Structural or Civil Engineer, you will be expected to have achieved at least 5 years site experience. Many Engineers struggle to obtain excellent positions from Construction companies because of their knowledge of construction skills.  In our experience, we have found that with today’s improving computer Technology, the need for Design Engineers is becoming less and they are becoming redundant. This therefore means that they have to commence their career working on a site as a Site Engineer, under Foreman supervision, because of their lack of skill and Setting Out technique.

Over the last 12 years Enka has recognised this fact, and is endeavouring to eliminate this problem here in the UK and Worldwide. Because Enka realises this need, we have come up with a Virtual Site that is realistic in real life construction together with hands on practical training in our campus.  We have become successful in giving the Site Engineer 10 valuable years site experience in a very short period of time.  Once an Engineer has taken part in working on this programme, his confidence and ability to think for himself becomes very apparent.
